Plot: June is a nanny to the billionaire Roland and her boyfriend breaks up with her only to get engaged two weeks late. June's revenge plot is to make her ex see that she's happy and doing just fine without him and then her boss fake-proposes to her in front of her ex.

Review: I absolutely loved this book. That being said, while I love a fake-dating plot I'm not usually a huge fan of the billionaire/age gap trope. The plot and characters were so well written. Even the kids characters are extremely well written. This book transports you into this billionaire's estate and the inner workings of the family. One of the things that I absolutely ADORED was their trip to Destin, FL. While I'm a South Dakota girlie now, once upon a time I was a Pensacola, FL girlie and I frequently go back because I love that area. Mad props for representing the Florida panhandle. The story didn't feel rushed at all, which I feel is tough to do in a short novel but this writer seems to have a knack for it! All around highly recommend this read but this author as well. I've really enjoyed both of the books that I've read by her.

The Paleontologist by Luke Dumas

  We've moved! Please read along here Let me begin by saying that I won this book as an advanced reader copy in a Goodreads giveaway. This book is not something that I would normally gravitate towards but I found the description very intriguing.  Ok, now that we've got that out of the way, this book is the best one I've read in months. Dumas's writing comes off as prose at times. It's poetic and beautiful, which is definitely not lost on me. The book is so intelligently written with such an incredible story. It's got some elements of  Jurassic Park, Night at the Museum, The Black Phone all carefully rolled into a very original, beautiful and surprising story. One of the things that I really enjoyed in this book were drawings of the dinosaurs and the way that they helped bring the museum displays to life.   We've moved! Please read along here I started this book today and I finished this book today. What a page turner! The opening hooks you immediately and I could not wait to find out what happened.What a WILD freaking ride this book is. Countless unexpected twists and turns. I gave my husband a brief recap when I was on page 230 and he told me to hurry up and finish the book because he wanted to know the ending!
